Let's go and see turtles ! (8)
(Narita Part 1 (Chiba)
One day of hot
summer day, I dropped in at Naritasan Shinshoji temple to see turtles of ponds there.
When we pass under the gate of the temple, we can see a lot of turtles
which are basking in the sun here and there.

A lot of turtles which were sunbathing on the stone were jammed. They were
like a lot of small stones paved on a big stone.
And look at carefully!
The big stone that a lot of turtles put on has turtle's shape.
It has a head, paws and a tail.
It was very hot day and the sunlight was very strong. They looked to be hot rather than pleasant. But it was maybe the ideal weather for basking to turtles.

There are a lot of turtles and carps
also in this pond.
In the left of this side, the red eared slider which lookes to be talking
to a reeves turtles is very cute.

I found such a unique item at a shop road sideward when I returned to the
station.
It's "Kamenoko tawashi", a scrubbing brush that parent and child's
turtle was moulded.
The tag says"For the entrance of house or garden." Indeed it
looks to be difficut to use it as a scrubbing brush because it's too big..
