Turtle's town, Kameido / Part 1(Tokyo)
One day of May we went to Kameid shrine (Tokyo,Japan)to see turtles.
At first we found a statue named " Hanekame" that means the turtles with wings in the front of thestation.

These are the statue,"hanekame"
lit up in the evening.
They were pictures taken in August, 2008, more than 9 years later from
the days taken an upper picture.
To my sorry, I couldn't take the most beautiful pictures lit up because
of lightness of early evening.
But we can feel a fantastic and romantic atmosphere different from that
in daytime.

On the way to the shrine when we looked at our feet we found turtles like this on the tiles of the sidewalk.

There were full of turtles in the pond of Kameido shrine.
All were turtless, though they look as a lot of stones.

It was in the middle of festival of wisteria flowers.
They were very beautiful !
