Inogashira Park at the season of fresh green

This park is well-known as there are a lot of turtles in the pond. To our regret most of them hide in the water because of cloudy weather.

We couldn't see so many turtles there.

There is a zoo managed Tokyo pref. in this park.In the branch of this zoo, "aquatic animals and plants pavilion" we can various animals and plants which live in fresh water.Turtles, fishes, water birds etc...some aquatic animals live in the same tank together. We seem to be diving into the pond.

This is the picture a male red-eared slider has just caught and eaten swimming fishes. He looked so hungry .But he wasn't good at hunting.

It's a soft shell turtle which hides its body into sand and appears just its face.

It's a big snapper, as long as 37 cm in the length and 13kg in the weight.They say it seems to be thrown away by anyone and it was found waterway in this park. .

This is a picture taken in the greenhouse where birds who live in the tropics are released. Two sliders like decorations at the waterside made inside of greenhouse. They also may be thrown away.

It is a zoo by the pond. We can turtles naturally here and there. I've been crazy about finding the turtle than seeing other animals.
